At NYA, we offer a wide variety of clubs, musical groups, drama programs, and X-Block courses to keep students engaged beyond the classroom. Students in grades six through twelve are required to participate in an afterschool activity each season—fall, winter, and spring.
Inspired to Do
We’re inspired to give every student the chance to explore new interests, collaborate with peers, and make their mark on the NYA community.
Afterschool Activity Options
In addition to team sports, students can choose from a range of activities including:
- Musical Theater
- Robotics Team
- Studio Band
- Team Management
- Fitness & Wellness
Students who participate in an activity not offered by NYA may work with the school to receive activity credit.
