Hugh Robbins ‘99 to Lead Alumni Association Leadership Council

November 19, 2020, Yarmouth, Maine:  Led bychairperson, Hugh Robbins ‘99, the North Yarmouth (NYA) Alumni Association Leadership Council will work to promote and encourage alumni engagement and connectedness with NYA.  Members of the council will act as energetic ambassadors for NYA to support the Academy’s mission, vision, and values. 

“This effort is all about reinvigorating and connecting NYA alums to create a network that is truly valuable to its members and serves as the vital link between the Academy and its body of distinguished alumni around the world, said Robbins.

Members of the Alumni Association Leadership Council share a passion for NYA and serve a three-year term and will attend two (virtual) meetings annually. The group will make decisions and recommendations that are in the best interest of NYA alumni, encourage fellow alumni to engage with NYA, support the work of the NYA Development Office, and liaison with the NYA Board of Trustees’ Development and Alumni Relations Committee.    

“We want to help alumni stay connected with their former classmates and to NYA,” said Jennifer Richard, Director of Development. “I am eager to work with Hugh and the Alumni Association Leadership Council to create meaningful opportunities for alumni to be involved with NYA.”
