Endowed & Named Financial Assistance Funds at North Yarmouth Academy

Endowed & Named Financial Assistance Funds at North Yarmouth Academy

Through the efforts of the Academy and the generosity of donors, numerous awards of financial assistance are offered to NYA students each academic year. The grant amounts and the number awarded vary year to year based on funds made available from the endowment and the Academy’s operating budget. These grants are all need-based, and if applicable, they are awarded based on the criteria established by each donor.

NYA students who are eligible for financial assistance will be considered for an endowed or named grant when they apply, so no extra action is required.

Opportunity & Excellence  In 2021, through the generosity of benefactors. NYA established the Opportunity & Excellence Fund to ensure students from every socioeconomic background can fully benefit from the transformative NYA experience. The fund, used to support new and existing initiatives including, but not limited to, financial aid, reduces barriers that prevent students from accessing the range of activities and opportunities available at NYA.
