Ashley Randlett
Director of Admission

Ashley Randlett joined the NYA team in 2015 as the Director of Admission, completing her journey back to Maine. A Belfast native, she fled the cold after high school to attend Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA. In addition to graduating Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration, Ashley was a four year member of the swim team. After a brief foray into the business world, Ashley realized she was best suited for the non-profit sector and began her career as an independent school admission officer, first at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, MD and most recently at The Providence Country Day School in East Providence, RI. Swimming, running, biking and skiing are just a few ways Ashley likes to spend her down time.

Leslie Durgin joined our staff as Director of Summer Programs in January 2013 and transitioned to the Admission Office in July 2013. Leslie previously worked at Rippleffect as their Business and Events Manager where she managed the adult-based summer programs including island weddings, weekend retreats, leadership development and teambuilding programs. Prior to joining Rippleffect, she worked in International Education for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) in Portland for seven years where she traveled to U.S. institutions to recruit students and promote study abroad opportunities. She is looking forward to developing new relationships within the greater Yarmouth community and promoting all that NYA has to offer.
Leslie received her B.A. in Political Science from The Ohio State University and her paralegal degree from the Denver Paralegal Institute. She moved to Maine in 2001 from Colorado and has continued her passion for the outdoors by exploring all that Maine has to offer. Leslie lives in South Portland with her husband and daughter and can be found most weekends at her camp on Moosehead Lake enjoying the North Woods with her family. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Birth Roots, a small non-profit that focuses on community supported parenting.
