When can you return to athletic activities after a case of COVID?

Following an asymptomatic or mild COVID infection, a student-athlete may return to athletic participation on day six, post five-day isolation from day zero.

Student athletes must wear a mask when inside until day ten or have two negative tests 48-hours apart.

If the student-athlete had a moderate or severe infection, their Primary Care Physician should provide the NYA Wellness Team with specific guidance for their return to athletics.
