The girls play on Friday December 30, at 1:10 p.m. vs. Austin Prep. WGME 13 Sports Director Dave Eid will drop the first puck along with his son Drew and daughter Danielle in memory of his wife, Lisa DeBlois Eid.
American Cancer Society posters will be up in the rink, and the NYA teams will wear special cancer awareness jerseys. “Our NYA boys and girls hockey programs reach a large audience in Maine and throughout New England. These awareness games are opportunities to spread an important message about the impact of cancer, and we’re proud of the teams using their voice to do just that,” said NYA Athletic Director Kelsy Ross.
