Field Hockey Academy
About the program
Welcome to the 2008 Field Hockey Academy! Middle School players of all abilities, come join us this summer to improve your game. We will work on basic skills right on up to playing full field games. Stick skills, ball control, shooting, passing, receiving, defensive and offensive play, and game tactics will all be introduced while having fun!
Come work on your skills, have FUN, and get ready for the upcoming season!
Please bring a stick, sneakers, cleats, shin guards, mouth guards, water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack. We look forward to working with you!
About the instructor
Emma Dunn, the current assistant field hockey coach and ice hockey coach at North Yarmouth Academy (as well as assistant athletic director), will direct this year's Field Hockey Academy. Emma is a graduate of Hamilton College where she played field hockey and ice hockey for four years. Emma has worked at numerous summer athletic camps, and we are very pleased to have her on board.
