Student-Athlete's Code of Conduct

I will conduct myself at all times and in all places in a manner that creates respect and honor for my team, my sport and my school.

I will treat my teammates, opponents and officials with respect.

I will do my best to be prepared mentally and physically for each game.

I will attend and be on time for all practices and games, unless excused by the coach (excuses will be granted for academic reasons and special family events).

I have read the NYA Student Handbook and I will abide by the rules regarding substance abuse and hazing. I also understand that there may be penalties for violations of this code of athletic conduct, including demotion, suspension, or separation from the team.

This code is in effect from the first day of preseason until the last day of play in the spring, or any other time I represent my school on the field of play.
