About the Steve Morris Scholar Program at NYA
Proceeds from the tournament go to the Steve Morris Scholar Program at North Yarmouth Academy.
The Steve Morris Scholar Fund was set up by a group of NYA alumni and friends to honor the memory of beloved faculty member Steve "Mo" Morris.
Two scholars, one boy and one girl, are chosen annually. Each will receive funds for all four years they attend NYA between their 9th and 12th grade years.
Donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by the law.
Our goal is to add $20,000 to the endowment of the Steve Morris Scholar Program for this fiscal year. In the past four years, we have steadily increased dollars raised from this event for an annual increase to the endowment fund.
