The 8th Annual Steve Morris Golf Tournament A Big Success!
THANK YOU for a great tournament! Held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Toddy Brook Golf Course in North Yarmouth, alumni, parents, staff, former staff and friends of NYA came out on a picture-perfect day to play golf to benefit the Stephen Morris Scholar Program. The Stephen Morris Scholar Program, a 2002 initiative of the North Yarmouth Academy Alumni Association, provides endowed financial aid support awarded annually to two freshman student/athletes. Each scholar will receive support through his or her senior year. It is an opportunity to honor Steve Morris for all he did for NYA and to ensure that students who may not otherwise have the means to attend NYA are given the chance to do so and to achieve their potential.
