Take I-95 north from the New Hampshire border. Take Exit 44 off I-95 and follow I-295 north through Portland, Falmouth, Cumberland and Yarmouth. Take Exit 15, the exit for Cumberland and Yarmouth. Bear right onto Route 1 at the exit. At the first set of lights, turn right onto Portland Street. Follow Portland Street to the end, turn left onto Main Street. Continue down Main Street, passing Bridge Street on the right. The Admission Office, located in the Bates House, is the fourth building on the right after Bridge Street. Parking is available across the street in the parking lot at the Priscilla Savage Middle School, just past the Admission Office.
Take I-295 south from the Brunswick area. Take Exit 17 (Yarmouth). Bear right onto Route 1. Proceeding south on Route 1, go through three sets of lights. Bear right after the third set of lights on the Route 115 exit. At the light at the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Route 115 (Main Street), go under the overpass the proceed up the hill. On the left side of the street you will see York Street. The Admission Office is on the left, in the Bates House, the fourth building after York Street. Parking is available just before you reach the Admission Office in the lot across the street at the Priscilla Savage Middle School.
